How To Make Aval Kesari?

Ingredients
Aval( Beaten Rice flakes) - 1 cup
Milk - 1/2 cup
Jaggery - 3/4 cup
Grated coconut - 3 tbsp
Pure ghee - 2 tbsp
Cashew nuts - A few 

Procedure
  • Grind aval coarsely in the mixer.
  • Fry it in ghee for 3 to 4 mins until it becomes soft.
  • Take another pan and melt jaggery till it becomes liquid.
  • Add fried aval,milk and grated coconut to this liquid and mix well.
  • Add some cashew nuts to it.
  • Allow it cool for sometime.

Now the sweet aval kesari is ready to eat.
